Title: Head Cook

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cheesesteak Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious cheesesteak sandwiches while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook cheesesteak sandwiches according to established recipes and standards

- Ensure the highest level of food quality and taste

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations

- Monitor and manage inventory of food supplies and equipment

- Assist with menu planning and development as needed

- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries

 

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cook, preferably with a focus on cheesesteak sandwiches or similar fast-casual cuisine

- Food Handler's Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) required

- Surf Safe certification is a plus

- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Availability to work weekends and flexible hours

- Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
