I’m Gary Merritt Jr., founder of Philly Boyz Cheesesteaks. Growing up in Southwest Philadelphia, cheesesteaks were part of home. I built Philly Boyz to bring that taste and hometown pride to Missouri City.
My journey started with a vending cart and grew into a food truck before becoming the restaurant you see today. Every step took hard work and people willing to give us a chance.
